Great info, thanks for sharing… One question. Do you suggest that I have my air conditioner looked at more than once a year? The local company here says it should be every season. Is that the best?

      Hi Hap,
I have heard the ‘check your a/c every season’ phrase as well. I have always thought they were referring to once per year at the start of the air conditioning season (which runs usually from mid to late spring through early to mid fall depending on where you live).

So to me, once per year is fine, just like once per year for your central heating system; i.e. once per year just before or at the start of the annual heating season.

Thanks, Hap, for stopping by! :)
      Dan
