Have you faced one of those home renovation projects which seem to go on for absolutely ever?
What about a water leak in the ceiling of your basement? Have you ever had to deal with one of those?
Well, for us, the answer was yes.
Only a few months after we moved into and renovated our new home we came upon a brown stain in a few of the ceiling tiles in our basement. Finding that brown stain lead us on an adventure to locate the water leak. Because of its location there were several possible causes.
And, once we found the water leak we had a major home renovation project to fix the leak which was coming from the shower stall in our master bedroom’s en suite bathroom.
As there were so many different aspects to this mis-adventure, we thought it would be beneficial to collect all of the articles into one place to make it easier for visitors to our site, DailyHomeRenoTips.com, thus allowing you to pick and choose the articles most meaningful to you.
So, what follows is that list.
As you can see from the rather large collection of articles below, it was quite an adventure. Hopefully you can learn from what we encountered to avoid your own mistakes.
And, yes, now almost 2 years later there had been no water leaking from the shower.
