You know how much we think of our EZ Snap solar window shades, right?
I mean, we have written an entire series of articles on:
- the EZ Snap exterior window shade product,
- our use of the specialized adhesive snaps, and
- how we installed it on the outside of our south facing windows,
- how we even used them on the outside of the window inserts in our exterior French Doors.
Heck, we even wrote about how they caused the reading on our digital temperature gauge to be reduced by 15 degrees F, even though we have ENERGY STAR windows!
A cooler home in the summer of course means less use of the air conditioner, resulting in less greenhouse gas emissions polluting the air and cost savings through reduced electric utility bills.
We so believe in this product from both an energy conservation and money saving perspective that we decided to hold a contest.

Each gift certificate can be redeemed towards the purchase of EZ Snap products found on the EZ Snap Direct web site .
As is the case with such coupons, it can be used only on one order and has no cash surrender value, even if the winner’s order is less than the amount of their prize. The coupons have an expiry date of September 30, 2009 because, after all, EZ Snap exterior window shades will save you the most money in the summer.
As has been the case with our last contest, this one is open to residents of the Unites States and Canada who are 18 years of age and older.
Winners will be notified by myself via the email address provided by them with their winning entry and will:
- have two (2) days to confirm they meet the eligibility requirements above, otherwise we will award their price to another contestant,
- agree to have their full name, City and State / Province published by us in our post-contest articles
- will provide their mailing address directly to EZ Snap Direct who will send them their prize in the mail
You know what’s next, right? Of course, this contest is void where prohibited by law.
OK, the details of the contest.
The contest starts right now and ends at 11:59 pm ET 31-MAY-09 … just in time for the winners to receive their coupon, order their EZ Snap exterior window shades, receive and install them before the hot, hot heat caused by the sun during the hot summer months.
Entries are limited to one, and only one, entry per day per household. However, you can enter every day of the contest. So, you can have a maximum of 31 entries, one for each day in May.
Just like last time, anyone found entering more than once per day will have all, yes all, of their entries disqualified. So don’t do it, OK?
Now, what do you have to do?
I keep talking about how effective EZ Snap exterior window shades are in helping to reduce excess heat buildup inside a home, cottage, RV, etc., ….. way more effective than interior products like blinds, curtains or window tinting at stopping the sun’s heat from entering your, well, home, cottage, RV, etc..
