Replacement Front Door - Update

Visitors to Daily Home Renovation Tips have seen every few days articles in the continuing series about the issues we have had with the purchase and installation of our replacement front door.

Good News! Today, April 11, 2008, we received word that the door manufacturer and the retailer have agreed to not only redo the installation but also to provide a new front door (rather than simply removing the current door and re-installing it). We are VERY appreciative of this situation.

Another Update Today, May 12, 2008 we have been advised that June 6, 2008 is the scheduled date for the delivery of the door from the manufacturer to the retailer. Once the store inspects the door we are to receive a phone call to arrange a day and time for the removal of the current door and the installation of the replacement for the replacement. How did we arrive at this situation? We will tell you in future articles as part of our Exterior Replacement Door series.
