In yesterday’s article we provided visual evidence of what an unfinished installation of the door handle hardware can look like. في الامس المادة قدمنا الادله المرءيه ما لم يكتمل تركيب اجهزة معالجة الباب يمكن أن تبدو. To finish the job and provide a more professional appearance all we did was to use Wood Filler that cost less than $5. لانهاء العمل وتوفير اكثر مهنيه المظهر جميع فعلنا هو استخدام الخشب مدون ان التكلفه اقل من 5 دولارات. Wood Filler comes in different colours. ويأتي الخشب مدون في ألوان مختلفة. We actually had to wait a few days for the Wood Filler in white to be restocked. ونحن في الواقع الى الانتظار بضعة ايام لأجل الأخشاب مدون في وايت الى ان يكون مجهز مجددا. Yes, this is the same Wood Filler we used to finish the installation of the French doors as we discussed previously. نعم هذه هي نفس الخشب مدون كنا الانتهاء من تركيب ابواب الفرنسية كما ناقشنا سابقا.

At first we thought that we would need to remove the door handle hardware, so that is what we proceeded to do. في البداية كنا نعتقد اننا سوف نحتاج الى ازالة باب التعامل مع الاجهزه ، وذلك وهذا هو ما شرع لنا ان نفعله. next, we then applied the Wood Filler to the areas which needed the finishing touch. وبعد ذلك ، ثم طبقنا الخشب لملء المناطق التي تحتاج تضع اللمسات الاخيرة.

Then we placed the door handle hardware back on the door and the door frame. ثم وضعنا التعامل مع الاجهزه الباب مرة اخرى على باب وباب الاطار. We then realized that we needed to put more Wood Filler onto the remaining gaps. ثم ادركت اننا نحتاج الى مزيد من الخشب على ملء الفجوات المتبقية.

On the second pair of French doors we simply left the door hardware on the doors and proceeded to apply the Wood Filler onto the visible gaps. على الزوج الثانى من الفرنسية الابواب ونحن بكل بساطة تركت الباب الاجهزه على الابواب وشرعت تطبق على الخشب لملء الفجوات الظاهرة. This approach for us worked just as well. وهذا النهج يعمل فقط بالنسبة لنا أيضا.

In both cases, we needed to ensure that we removed the excess Wood Filler from the hardward before it dried. وفي كلتا الحالتين ، نحن بحاجة الى ضمان ان قمنا بازاله الفائض من الخشب مدون hardward معروضا على المجففه. It can be done once it dries but it takes more effort…..sort of like trying to remove paint from a window after the paint has dried. ويمكن ان يتم ذلك بمجرد أن يجفف لكنه يأخذ في بذل المزيد من الجهود….. نوع من مثل محاولة ازالة الطلاء من النافذة بعد ان الطلاء قد جفت.

The last step is for the next day. الخطوة الاخيرة هي لفي اليوم التالي. To ensure that the finish looks smooth as if the Wood Filler material is not even there one simply needs to gently sand any rough spots. لضمان سلاسه النهاية تبدو كما لو كانت المواد الخشبيه مدون ليست هناك حتى مجرد واحد يحتاج الى اي برفق الرمال الخام البقع.
