In Part 3 we reviewed the features of our new solar charged electric lawn mower, focusing on the brushless motor. في الجزء 3 استعرضنا من ميزات جديدة للطاقة الشمسيه في حديقة المحشه الكهرباءيه المكلفه ، مع التركيز على brushless المحركات. Today, in Part 4 we focus on our efforts to install the solar charging station, including the solar panel. اليوم ، في الجزء 4 ونحن نركز على جهودنا المبذولة لتثبيت اتهام محطة للطاقة الشمسيه ، بما فيها الالواح الشمسيه.

I for one am really excited. وانني لأشعر حقا بالاثاره واحد. I did not do very well in science in school. انني لم أفعل جيدا في مجال العلم في المدارس. In fact, I stopped taking science after grade 9. وفي الواقع ، توقفت عن اخذ العلم بعد الصف 9. So I don’t understand how solar panels work at all.  This fear of the unknown did make me a little apprehensive about me putting this solar charging station together by myself. حتى انني لا افهم كيف الالواح الشمسيه في العمل على الاطلاق. هذا الخوف من المجهول لم تجعلني وتخوف قليلا عن وضع لي هذا الى جانب محطة للطاقة الشمسيه تحميل بنفسي.

The good news? والخبر السار؟ Well, I was able to do it after only 2 hours sleep! The night before I was out on the west coast of California and took the ‘red eye’ (overnight) flight back east. حسنا ، انني قادر على القيام بذلك الا بعد 2 ساعة من النوم! الليلة قبل كنت على الساحل الغربي من ولاية كاليفورنيا ، واتخذت 'العين الحمراء' (بين عشية وضحاها (الرحله العودة الشرق. I don’t know about you but I never get any sleep on those flights.  But, I digress أنا لا أعرف عنك ولكنني لم أحصل على أي النوم على هذه الرحلات. ولكن ، انا استطرادا

OK, the first (of many) picture below shows all of the components of the solar charging station laid out on our back lawn. طيب ، الأولى (للعديد من (الصورة ادناه يبين للجميع العناصر المكونة للشحن محطة للطاقة الشمسيه موضوعة على العودة ونحن في الحديقة. The two metal parts (at the top of the picture below) which look like a weird ‘Z’ are to be attached to the charger station itself (which is at the bottom of the picture). الاثنين اجزاء معدنيه (في اعلى الصورة ادناه) التي تبدو وكأن غريب 'ى' هي التي يجب اعطاؤها الى شاحن المحطة نفسها (التي هي في اسفل الصورة). The small boxes on the extreme left and right each contain one of the batteries. صناديق الصغيرة على اقصى اليسار وتتضمن الحق في كل واحدة من البطاريات. And, the white thing in the middle is the underside of the solar panel, measuring 16 and 3/4 inches by 18 inches. و، الشيء الابيض في الوسط هي السفلى من الالواح الشمسيه ، قياس 16 و 3 / 4 بوصة فى 18 بوصة.

Now, notice the two holes in the top and lower black horizontal frames in the above picture. الآن ، لاحظت اثنين في الثغر الأعلى والأدنى أطر الاسود الافقي في الصورة اعلاه. These are used to affix the panel to what ever you want to place it on. وتستخدم هذه لاحقة الفريق من اي وقت مضى الى ما تريد وضعها علي. However, you are not required to affix the panel to anything. ومع ذلك ، انت لا يطلب من الفريق اللاحقه الى اي شيء. Per the manufacturer’s customer service, some customers apparently move the panel during the day to get more sun light. لكل الصانع خدمة العملاء ، ويبدو ان بعض العملاء تحرك الفريق خلال اليوم للحصول على مزيد من اشعه الشمس. While the instructions say to place the solar panel at a 45 degree angle to gain the most direct sun light I decided to have the solar panel lay flat on the top of this small deck box. وفي حين ان اقول تعليمات لوضع الألواح الشمسيه في زاويه 45 درجة لكسب اكبر قدر من اشعه الشمس مباشرة فقد قررت ان يكون الفريق تكمن شقة للطاقة الشمسيه على رأس هذا الاطار سطح السفينة الصغيرة.

Now, I do have to be honest, because at the end of the day if one does not maintain one’s integrity then what does one have (not to get too philosophical). الآن ، انا لا يتعين ان تكون نزيهة ، لأنه في نهاية المطاف اذا كان احد لا الحفاظ على نزاهه واحدة ثم ماذا يكون واحد (وليس للحصول على الفلسفيه ايضا). The manufacturer needs to improve two things to make the installation easier: (A) more detailed step by step installation instructions (I guess that where Daily Home Renovation Tips come in الصانع في حاجة الى تحسين امرين لجعل من الاسهل تركيب : (أ) اكثر تفصيلا خطوة خطوة تعليمات التثبيت (واعتقد ان فيها يوميا الصفحه الاولى نصائح تأتي في التجديد ) and (B) supply all of the tools needed to put this together. (و) ب (من توريد جميع الادوات اللازمة لوضع هذا سويا.

If they would have simply supplied a flat wrench to assemble the part which will affix the solar panel to the flat or angled surface and if they would have supplied the flat screw driver the size of the ones you use on a pair of glasses I would have saved more than an hour of wasted time looking for these things in my own home. اذا كانت ببساطة الموردة شقة مصدر الحزن لتجميع الجزء الذي سوف اللاحقه الشمسيه الفريق الى شقة او سطح الزاويه واذا كانت قد زودت الشقه المسمار سائق حجم تلك التي كنت تستخدم على زوج من النظارات واود ان يكون انقذ اكثر من ساعة من الوقت الضائع يبحث عن هذه الامور في بلدي البيت. Other manufactures of other products commonly do such things to improvement the customer’s experience. مصنوعات اخرى من المنتجات الأخرى عموما ان تفعل مثل هذه الاشياء لتحسين تجربة العميل. However, that is my ONLY complaint about all this. ومع ذلك ، وهذا هو شاغلي الوحيد شكوى عن هذا كله. As one of the judges on American Idol likes to say, I’m just ‘keeping it real’ for y’all. بوصفه واحدا من قضاة على الاميركية المعبود يحب ان اقول ، انا فقط 'ابقائها الحقيقي' لy'all.

The first step was th attach the metal stand to the black charger station with simple bolts and screws. وكانت الخطوة الاولى ث نعلق المعدن يقف الى الأسود مع شاحن محطة بسيطة للمسامير وبراغي.

Next, I tried to see of the cord from the solar panel to inside the deck box would fix in the space underneath the back of the lid. وبعد ذلك ، حاولت ان أنظر من حبل من الالواح الشمسيه الى سطح السفينة داخل الاطار من شأنه ان يحدد في الفضاء تحت الجزء الخلفي من غطاء. No such luck. لا حظ هذه. So I drilled a hole on top of the deck box lid sufficiently large for the cord. ولذا فانني حفر حفرة على سطح السفينة من اعلى غطاء صندوق كبير بما فيه الكفايه للحبل. However, I did not first look (you know what they say, measure twice and cut / drill once) to see the position of the cord in the underside of the solar panel. ومع ذلك ، لم اكن الاطلاله الاولى (انت تعرف ما يقولون ، وقطع قياس مرتين / الحفر مرة واحدة (انظر إلى الموقف من حبل في الجانب السفلي من الالواح الشمسيه. With the deck box lid now open, I placed the charging station unit inside. مع مربع من سطح الغطاء مفتوحة الان ، وانا ضعت وحده داخل محطة الشحن. This charging unit comes with a solar charging controller into which the wires within the cord from the solar panel are placed. ويأتي هذا مع فرض وحدة للطاقة الشمسيه الى المراقب المالي الذي فرض الاسلاك داخل حبل من الالواح الشمسيه وتوضع. This solar charging controller will also ensure that the batteries are not over charged. المراقب المالي للطاقة الشمسيه تحميل هذا سيضمن ايضا ان البطاريات ليست اكثر من تهمة. It has two very small indicator lights. لقد اثنين مؤشر اضواء صغيرة جدا. One will be red when the batteries are not in the charging unit and will be green when they are. واحد سيكون الاحمر عندما البطاريات ليست في وحدة شحن وسيكون الاخضر عندما تكون. The other small light will flash green when the batteries are in the charging unit being charged and will be a consistent (ie not flashing) green when they are fully charged and ready for use. الصغيرة الاخرى الضوء الاخضر عندما الوميض البطاريات في فرض وحدة أن توجه إليهم أي تهمة ، وستكون متسقه (أي ليست اللمعان) الاخضر عندما تكون مشحونة بالكامل وجاهزه للاستعمال.

What you need to do is to insert, according to the very clear instructions (with diagrams) the wires from the solar panel into the solar charging controller by using a mini-screw driver. ما عليك القيام به هو ان تدرج ، وفقا لتعليمات واضحة جدا (مع رسوم بيانية) الاسلاك من الالواح الشمسيه الى طاقة الشمسيه تكليف المراقب المالي باستخدام مصغره المسمار السائق.

And that’s it! وهذا هو! Once I did this the two indicator lights on the solar charging controller were bright red (per above), which told me that I had connected the wires correctly. فعلت ذلك مرة واحدة هما مؤشر الاضواء على تكليف المراقب المالي للطاقة الشمسيه مشرق الاحمر (لكل أعلاه) ، الذي قال لي ان كان لي صلة الاسلاك بشكل صحيح.

The last thing was to remove the packaging around each battery and place them into the charging unit. آخر شيء هو إزالة التغليف حول كل البطاريه ووضعها في وحدة الشحن. This was the easiest part of this surprisingly easy assembly. كان هذا هو أسهل جزء من هذا الغريب ان من السهل للجمعية العامة.

And then I waited. ثم انتظرت. I was really, really tempted to place the batteries in the other charging unit that came with the lawn mower that can be plugged into an electrical outlet. كنت حقا ، حقا لاغراء مكان البطاريات الاخرى في وحدة الشحن التي جاءت مع المحشه فى الحديقة التى يمكن ان صوم الكهرباءيه الى مخرج. I really want to start using this lawn mower. وأريد بالفعل للبدء باستعمال هذه الحديقة المحشه. However, I wanted to do my own test to see how it would all work right from the start by being completely off grid. ومع ذلك ، كنت اريد ان ادرس بلدي اختبار لنرى كيف سيكون له كل الحق في العمل من البداية عن طريق شبكة من تماما.
