Do you spell it ‘color’ or colour’? È lo spelling è 'colore' o il colore '? Either way the impact of colours on home remodeling, renovation or improvements can be dramatic; yes, even in the laundry room. BEFORE PRIMA
In the picture below, you can see the bold usage of a ‘plum’ based colour, which has the impact of making the very small room feel, well, even smaller. AFTER DOPO
Decor wise the most dramatic change is the colour of the paint. Decoro saggio più drastico cambiamento è il colore della vernice. Gone is the claustrophobic plum and in its place is a light brown; the colour’s official name is ‘ platinum ‘. The coat rack on the left is gone. La Appendiabiti a sinistra è andata. We increased the depth of the existing closet back to its original depth and now it fits our coats just fine. Additionally, notice that somewhat surprisingly the replacement of the fabric curtains with California style shutters on the left also seems to add to the openness feel of the laundry room, even with the washer and dryer extending an inch or two further past the closet than with the prior appliances in the BEFORE picture above.
