Colors are very important in home renovations. الألوان مهمة للغاية في الصفحه الاولى التجديدات. You don’t want all that time, effort and renovation money to be wasted by poor color selection. كنت لا تريد كل هذا الوقت والجهد والمال لتجديد تبديد سوء اختيار لون. We had used the color-coordinator, Debbie, from the store where we purchased our paint in a prior home’s main floor and because of the nice job she did there we had her come out and give us color recommendations for this entire house. ونحن قد استخدمت اللون - منسق ، ديبي ، من حيث تخزينها ونحن لدينا شراء الطلاء في الصفحه الاولى قبل الكلمه الرئيسية ، ونظرا للعمل لطيف وقالت انه كان هناك ونحن لها وتخرج لنا لون التوصيات لهذا البيت بأكمله.

BEFORE قبل
The first picture is the ‘before’ picture of the family room. الصورة الأولى هي 'قبل' صورة للاسرة الغرفة. Notice the blue carpet, blue walls and floor to ceiling fireplace. أشعار السجاد الازرق ، والأزرق على جدران وسقف الطابق الموقد. While blue is one of our daughters favorite colors, it’s not ours for a family room. وفي حين ان الأزرق هو من الألوان المفضلة لبناتنا ، انه ليس في مصلحتنا لغرفة الاسرة. As well the brick of the fireplace just overpowered everything else. وايضا لبنة من الموقد فقط تغلبت كل شيء. The curtains were at least 10 years old and there was no lighting other than floor lamps and the southern exposure windows out to the backyard & forest. الستائر كان ما لا يقل عن 10 عاما وعدم وجود اضاءة المصابيح الاخرى من الكلمه والتعرض للجنوب ويندوز الى الفناء & الغابات.

AFTER بعد

The picture below is the first of two ‘after’ pictures. الصورة ادناه هي الاولى من اثنين 'بعد' صور.

• Pot lights on a dimmer switch were installed in the ceiling. اضواء على قدر المخفت في التحول ، تم تركيب السقف.
• The blue paint was replaced (after double washing of the walls with TSP for the smoke / nicotine) with an earthy green to complement the forest view our the windows. الطلاء الازرق تم استبدال (بعد الغسيل المزدوج للجدران مع لtsp الدخان / النيكوتين) مع ترابي الاخضر لاستكمال الغابات ، شاهد ويندوز.
• The blue carpet was replaced with hardwood. Again, we thank Sam, our hardwood flooring salesperson, for recommending we stick with the Jatoba Espresso hardwood. البساط الأزرق تم استبدال الصلب. ومرة اخرى نشكر سام ، لدينا الارضيه الصلبه البائع ، ونحن لالتوصيه العصا مع jatoba Espresso الصلبه. We think it complements the wall color, the trees of the forest out back as well as the color of our kitchen counter of which a sneak peak can be seen to the right in the picture (more on the kitchen in further posts). ونحن نعتقد انها تكمل لون الجدار ، والاشجار من الغابات الى الوراء ، فضلا عن لون من المطبخ مكافحة الخائن من الذروة التي يمكن ان ينظر الى الحق في الصورة (اكثر على وظائف اخرى في المطبخ).

• We had the part of the fireplace above the mantle covered with fire-retardant drywall so it no longer is the focal point of the room; the focal point becomes the forest out the windows. وقد اتيحت لنا جزءا من فوق الموقد عباءه تغطي المانع دريوال النار - حتى انها لم تعد هي مركز تنسيق للغرفة ؛ مركز التنسيق يصبح خارج الغابات ويندوز.
• The window coverings were replaced with a pull down see-through fabric shade. نافذة الاغطيه واستعيض أ - افتح انظر من خلال نسيج الظل. We chose this to keep the sun’s rays from directly hitting the hardwood (and in time fading the dark brown stain) yet allow us to still see outside. لقد اخترنا هذا ان تبقى اشعه الشمس مباشرة ضرب من الخشب الصلب (والتلاشي في وقت الظلام براون وصمة عار) ومع ذلك اسمحوا لنا ان نرى ما زالت خارج. Color selection and coordination is critical in any renovation. اختيار الالوان والتنسيق أمر حاسم في اي تجديد. It’s the end product that you have to live with for a long time. انه المنتج النهائي ان عليك ان تعيش مع لفترة طويلة.
